What the thirteen Edge Case species are and what they do not do.

What it is
Edge Cases are thirteen species that sit outside the Chain: they do not advance along it and they do not rupture. They count as species of their own in the Register and are contained in the field like any other esva.
How I do it
How to identify, contain and register an Edge Case:
- Check the listThe thirteen species are marked as Edge Case in the Register. Check there before planning the field run.Register
- Identify the apparitionIn the field, read the apparition in the quadrant and check the species. The Edge Case mark shows on the esva's record.Incursion Map → quadrant
- ContainContain it with the flask, as in any containment. Containing an Edge Case takes no separate handling.
- Register itOnce contained, the esva enters the collection and the species is marked in the Register, with an entry of its own.Collection
